Justin Gaethje Questions Ilia Topuria's Lightweight Potential

Following a lightweight championship bout against Justin Gaethje at UFC Freedom 250 in June, Ilia Topuria faces criticism regarding his size for the weight class. Gaethje publicly opined that Topuria is undersized for the division and advised a return to featherweight.

Gaethje stated his belief that Topuria will not become a lightweight champion, citing potential competitive difficulties against fighters like Arman Tsarukyan and Paddy Pimblett. There has been no official indication that Topuria plans to move back to the 145-pound division at this time.
