Patricio Freire Challenges Jean Silva Following UFC 331 Win
Published
The story
Patricio Freire, who holds a 38-9 record, is seeking a bout with Jean Silva following his recent knockout win over Doo Ho Choi at UFC 331. Freire, who is currently unranked in the UFC featherweight division, stated he believes their fighting styles align for a compelling matchup.
Jean Silva, 18-3, holds a current streak of victories over Arnold Allen and Jose Delgado. Freire suggested Silva displayed vulnerabilities in his previous fight at Noche UFC 4, claiming he would have finished the fight had he been the opponent. Despite the challenge, no official bout has been scheduled between the two fighters.
