Montel Jackson Defeats Ricky Simon via Second-Round Knockout

At UFC Vegas 121 on Saturday, September 26, 2026, Montel Jackson earned a second-round knockout victory over Ricky Simon at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas. Jackson, who entered the contest on a two-fight losing streak, utilized his reach and punching power to overcome Simon, who had previously defeated him in their 2018 meeting.

Jackson controlled the pace throughout the bout, scoring an early knockdown in the first round. Although Simon attempted to apply pressure and utilize takedowns, he struggled to contain Jackson's transition game. In the second frame, a powerful left hand from Jackson dropped Simon to the canvas, forcing the referee to halt the contest.
