Luis Hernandez replaces Mickey Gall against Sedriques Dumas at UFC Vegas 121

The UFC announced that Mickey Gall has withdrawn from his scheduled bout at UFC Vegas 121 following the discovery of medical issues during fight week. Gall, who has not competed in nearly two years, stated that he is otherwise doing fine. Luis Hernandez has stepped in to face Sedriques Dumas on just two days' notice.

Hernandez, who holds an 8-0 record, recently earned his UFC contract after a second-round finish on Dana White’s Contender Series. He enters the octagon only 11 days after his previous victory. His opponent, Dumas, holds a 10-5 professional record and is looking to break a four-fight winless streak. UFC Vegas 121 will proceed with 12 bouts, headlined by a bantamweight matchup between Raul Rosas Jr. and Raoni Barcelos.
