Ailin Perez Targets Finish of Norma Dumont at UFC Vegas 121

The co-main event at UFC Vegas 121 features a clash between Ailin Perez and Norma Dumont. Perez, currently riding a six-fight winning streak, stated her intention to finish the bout inside the distance. She noted that while Dumont has only been stopped once in her professional career—a first-round knockout in 2020—she believes her own improved striking and strategic preparation will be the difference.

Beyond the physical matchup, Perez suggested that she has already gained a mental advantage over her opponent. Citing past interactions and what she characterizes as a lack of a "code" by Dumont, Perez emphasized that she is ready to face her opponent without outside interference. With title aspirations for the future, Perez views this win as a necessary step toward contending for the bantamweight championship.
