Muhammad Mokaev Calls for Matchup Against Joshua Van

Muhammad Mokaev has publicly challenged Joshua Van, stating that he believes he is currently levels above the flyweight athlete. Mokaev pointed to his previous win over Cody Durden as a basis for comparison, noting that he finished Durden in under one minute, whereas Van went to a decision against the same opponent.

Additionally, Mokaev highlighted his past victory over Charles Johnson, who holds a knockout win over Van. Mokaev, who also holds the record for the most takedowns in the 125-pound division, suggested that the promotion should book the bout despite his current status away from the organization.
