Wang Cong and Natalia Silva to Vie for Vacant Flyweight Title at UFC 332

UFC 332 is set to feature a vacant flyweight championship bout between Natalia Silva and Wang Cong this Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The title became available after the organization stripped Valentina Shevchenko of the belt when she did not defend it. The event will be broadcast on CBS and Paramount+ starting at 8 p.m. ET.

Heading into the main event, Wang Cong stated that she does not believe she needs to defeat Shevchenko to establish herself as a legitimate champion. Meanwhile, Silva discussed her path to the title fight, noting that her career journey included periods where she faced significant personal and financial challenges. Silva emphasized that her persistence through these hardships, including periods where she slept in a physical therapy room, helped prepare her for this upcoming opportunity.
