Renato Moicano Targets Ilia Topuria for Potential Return Fight

Renato Moicano is preparing for his upcoming main event against Tom Nolan at UFC Vegas 123. During a recent interview, Moicano mentioned that he is considering potential opponents for a future callout, specifically naming former two-division champion Ilia Topuria as a logical choice.

Topuria has not competed since suffering a knockout loss to Justin Gaethje at UFC White House in June. Moicano noted that while Topuria remains a dangerous opponent who is likely training hard, he may need a specific type of matchup to regain his confidence after that defeat. Moicano stated he would be willing to step in for such a contest, though he acknowledged that the UFC’s booking decisions remain uncertain.
