Aaron Pico Assesses Movsar Evloev’s Path to Victory Against Alexander Volkanovski

In a recent interview, Aaron Pico analyzed the upcoming featherweight title fight between champion Alexander Volkanovski and challenger Movsar Evloev. Pico expressed skepticism regarding Evloev's ability to maintain top control against the champion, citing Volkanovski’s previous performance against Islam Makhachev as evidence of his defensive grappling prowess.

While acknowledging that Evloev has the ability to execute takedowns, Pico argued that holding Volkanovski down remains a difficult task. Consequently, he stated that the undefeated challenger's best opportunity to claim the title is by finding a knockout finish. Volkanovski, meanwhile, has expressed his own intent to finish the fight and warned that the challenger's arms will tire under his pressure.
