UFC Employee Sal Everett Secures First-Round Knockout on Contender Series

In a featured welterweight bout at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas on October 6, 2026, Sal Everett defeated Ozzy Martin via knockout. The fight ended in less than two minutes after Everett pinned his opponent against the fence and landed a finishing right hook. Everett, who previously worked as a UFC security guard and a runner for CEO Dana White, now holds a professional record of 5-0 with a 100 percent finish rate.

Everett has never fought past the first round in his career. The loss marks the first professional defeat for Ozzy Martin, who moves to 4-1 following the event. While Everett is currently a UFC employee, he would be required to relinquish his role with the promotion should he be awarded a contract following this victory.
