Sean Strickland and Nassourdine Imavov Engage in Heated Confrontation

Middleweight champion Sean Strickland and Nassourdine Imavov were captured in a tense confrontation at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas. Video footage showed Imavov aggressively questioning Strickland about the delay in finalizing a fight contract between the two.

Security personnel intervened to separate the fighters as Imavov shouted accusations and attempted to move past guards toward the champion. Strickland, who remained composed throughout the encounter, later characterized the incident as staged content created for social media. He dismissed the confrontation as awkward and criticized the presence of cameras during the interaction.

The public dispute comes amid ongoing discussions regarding Strickland’s current status with the promotion. The champion has recently expressed dissatisfaction with his compensation, fueling speculation about his future and potential intentions to explore opportunities outside of the UFC.
