Wang Cong Addresses Flyweight Title Opportunity at UFC 332

Following the announcement that Valentina Shevchenko would relinquish the flyweight championship, the UFC scheduled a bout between Natalia Silva and Wang Cong for the vacant title at UFC 332. Wang stated she is not surprised by the opportunity, citing her four-fight win streak and consistent activity in the division as justification for the promotion's decision.

Addressing concerns regarding her short preparation time, Wang noted that her cardio remains a strength. She expects a competitive striking battle against Silva, noting that success will depend on managing the rhythm of the fight and desire. While Wang has a 2015 kickboxing victory over Shevchenko, she remains focused exclusively on the upcoming contest for the title.
