Luis Hernandez dismisses Chris Curtis callout following UFC debut

Luis Hernandez secured a victory against Sedriques Dumas at UFC Fight Night on September 26, 2026, marking his first appearance in the promotion. This win followed his success on Dana White’s Contender Series. Shortly after, veteran Chris Curtis released a video calling out the undefeated fighter.

Hernandez, who remains 9-0 as a professional, dismissed the challenge and questioned Curtis’s motivations. The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s deputy stated that he views Curtis as a future opponent he plans to retire if they eventually meet in the cage. Hernandez noted he is currently looking toward other matchups but remains open to the fight should it materialize in the future.
