Natalia Silva Claims Vacant UFC Flyweight Title at UFC 332

Natalia Silva captured the vacant UFC flyweight title at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City during the UFC 332 main event. Silva secured the championship by defeating Wang Cong in a hard-fought decision victory. The title became vacant after Valentina Shevchenko relinquished the belt to address ongoing injuries.

The win marks a significant milestone for Silva, who maintains a 9-0 record within the octagon and an active 15-fight win streak dating back to 2017. Following the event, Shevchenko congratulated Silva on social media while signaling her intent to return to competition. Shevchenko stated she plans to challenge for the title once she recovers from her injuries.
