Ian Garry Claims UFC Scheduled Main Event Return

Welterweight contender Ian Machado Garry has publicly claimed that the UFC has locked in a main event bout against Michael Morales for November 28 in Saudi Arabia. Garry alleged via social media that Morales is creating excuses to avoid signing the contract for the fight.

Garry stated that he has already accepted the proposed date and communicated with Morales directly. In response to the claims, Morales has reportedly expressed interest in a different matchup, specifically calling for a title eliminator bout against No. 1-ranked contender Carlos Prates. Morales last competed nearly one year ago, where he secured a first-round finish over Sean Brady.
