Jon Jones Responds to Colby Covington Criticism Over Gable Steveson Loss

Colby Covington recently publicly attributed the recent knockout defeat of Gable Steveson to the influence of Jon Jones. Covington specifically criticized Jones for allegedly introducing negative energy and moving Steveson away from his wrestling background.

Jones responded to these claims via social media, questioning Covington’s logic regarding the loss. Jones highlighted his own career success and contrasted it with Covington's need for personal security. Additionally, Jones referenced past results in the Octagon, including Covington's title fight loss to Kamaru Usman, while asserting that their long-standing personal friction remains confined to online exchanges.
