Plinio Cruz calls for Chase DeMoor bout after Misfits boxing victory

Plinio Cruz, a coach for Alex Pereira, secured a second-round TKO victory against Gary Olive at the Misfits Fight Night in London on October 10, 2026. Olive served as a replacement opponent after Chase DeMoor withdrew from the scheduled bout citing an eye injury. Cruz dominated the four-minute contest, eventually causing Olive to go to a knee and get counted out.

Following his win, Cruz expressed interest in rescheduling his fight against DeMoor, who has had two prior matchups with him cancelled. Cruz criticized DeMoor’s absence from the event and addressed him directly through media remarks and social media posts. DeMoor replied to Cruz via direct message, leading to a public exchange between the two parties.
