Jorge Masvidal Pursuing Potential UFC Octagon Return

Three years removed from his final MMA appearance, 41-year-old Jorge Masvidal has expressed his intention to return to the UFC. Masvidal, who recently competed in a 2024 boxing match against Nate Diaz, stated that he remains in regular training and is actively maintaining communication with UFC officials about a possible return to the cage.

According to Masvidal, his interest in fighting is not financially motivated. Instead, he characterizes the sport as a unique experience he wishes to revisit. He noted that talks regarding his comeback are progressing well and that he is awaiting an appropriate opportunity, specifically looking for an event and opponent that suit his criteria for legacy building.
