Alexander Volkanovski Analyzes Upcoming Title Defense Against Movsar Evloev

Alexander Volkanovski is scheduled to defend his featherweight title against the undefeated Movsar Evloev at UFC 333 later this month. Despite acknowledging Evloev as a well-rounded athlete and a worthy contender who has earned his title shot, the 38-year-old champion maintains that Evloev poses a favorable stylistic challenge specifically for him.

Volkanovski suggests that while Evloev's wrestling and grappling skills are problematic for others in the division, those same tools will not be effective against him. The champion stated he is prepared to go the full 25 minutes but believes he possesses the capability to secure a finish before the final round. Volkanovski expects that his opponent's attempts to utilize his usual ground-heavy game plan will ultimately prove detrimental to Evloev as the fight progresses.
