Julianna Pena Returns to Action at RAF Abu Dhabi

Former two-time UFC bantamweight champion Julianna Pena is set to return to combat sports competition on November 14 at RAF Abu Dhabi. The event, held at Etihad Arena, will feature Pena in a middleweight wrestling matchup against Diana Avsaragova.

This appearance marks Pena’s first competitive outing in 17 months, following her second-round submission loss to Kayla Harrison at UFC 316 in June 2025. Pena, who has served as a color commentator for the promotion, faces an opponent in Avsaragova who recently suffered a technical fall loss to champion Kennedy Blades at RAF 13. The event is headlined by a cruiserweight crossover title fight between Colby Covington and Khamzat Chimaev.
