Aljamain Sterling Recalls Post-Fight Interaction With Cory Sandhagen

In a recent discussion on his YouTube channel, Aljamain Sterling reflected on his June 2020 victory over Cory Sandhagen. Sterling defeated Sandhagen via a first-round rear-naked choke in under 90 seconds to secure his position as the No. 1 bantamweight contender.

Sterling recalled encountering Sandhagen in a courtyard later that same evening. According to Sterling, Sandhagen approached him and offered a profane congratulation, to which Sterling simply replied that he accepted the sentiment.
