Robert Whittaker to Face Bogdan Guskov at UFC Sydney

The UFC has confirmed that Robert Whittaker will return to Sydney for the co-main event at Afterpay Arena. This appearance marks Whittaker's return to the city after 12 years and follows his successful transition to the 205-pound division, which included a knockout victory over Nikita Krylov at UFC 329 this past July.

Whittaker noted that while he was offered multiple potential opponents, Bogdan Guskov was the fighter who ultimately accepted the bout. Whittaker described Guskov as a dangerous and rangy opponent with significant power. Guskov enters the matchup following a stoppage loss to Magomed Ankalaev at UFC Abu Dhabi in July.
