Four Fighters Hospitalized Following UFC Vegas 121

Following the UFC Vegas 121 event on September 26, 2026, promotion officials confirmed that four athletes required hospital visits for medical assessment. Raul Rosas Jr., Raoni Barcelos, Ailin Perez, and Ilimbek Akylbek were all sent for evaluations after their respective bouts.

Raoni Barcelos was transported to a Level 1 trauma center after collapsing in the fifth round of his main event fight against Rosas Jr. UFC officials later stated that Barcelos was stable, alert, and responsive under medical supervision. Raul Rosas Jr. was sent for precautionary CT scans of his head and face following the same contest.

Ailin Perez was evaluated for a potential orbital fracture following her win over Norma Dumont, while Ilimbek Akylbek was hospitalized for head and face scans after receiving an illegal knee in his bout against Mahammadali Osmanli.
