Esteban Ribovics missed the weight limit by 0.5 pounds ahead of his UFC 332 bout against King Green. The weight discrepancy led to a penalty of 20 percent of his fight purse and rendered him ineligible for post-fight performance bonuses. Ribovics went on to secure a first-round knockout victory over Green despite the pre-fight complication.

Ribovics stated that air conditioning was turned on in his workout room during his final preparation phase, which caused him to stop sweating. He explained that this prevented him from reaching his target weight on schedule. When asked about potential sabotage, Ribovics dismissed the notion that the issue was orchestrated by his opponents. Following his recent success against Green and Edson Barboza, Ribovics expressed that he feels prepared to face any opponent the promotion offers next.
