Alex Pereira Returns at UFC 335 Against Sergei Pavlovich

UFC CEO Dana White officially announced that Alex Pereira will take on knockout artist Sergei Pavlovich for his upcoming appearance at UFC 335. This booking comes after Pereira’s unsuccessful transition to the heavyweight division, where he previously suffered a defeat against Ciryl Gane at UFC Freedom 250.

Following the announcement, Pereira acknowledged the upcoming challenge by posting a promotional message on social media directed toward Pavlovich. The matchup was confirmed during a recent appearance by White on Nina Drama’s KICK stream.

In separate developments, social media users noted footage of Pereira sparring with Glover Teixeira while wearing protective headgear. The unusual sight sparked various fan reactions online, with some observers questioning the decision while others suggested it is a proactive measure for the veteran fighter.
