Victor Ortiz and Paulie Malignaggi to Face Off at BKB 62

Former professional boxing world champions Victor Ortiz and Paulie Malignaggi will headline the BKB 62 event at The Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. The contest is set for five rounds within the promotion’s three-sided ring, known as the Trigon. This booking follows years of discussions between the two fighters dating back to their tenures as titleholders in professional boxing.

Ortiz enters the matchup with a 1-0 bare-knuckle record, having secured a unanimous decision victory over Dominic Salcido in July 2026. Conversely, Malignaggi holds a 1-2 record in bare-knuckle competition and enters the ring coming off a second-round stoppage loss to Rolando Dy earlier this year. Malignaggi previously captured the IBF junior welterweight and WBA welterweight titles during his boxing career, while Ortiz is a former WBC welterweight champion.
