Dana White Responds to News of Tim Kennedy Being Shot in Congo

Reports emerged last week stating that Tim Kennedy was part of an operations team ambushed while working for Vectus Global. The team was reportedly tasked with protecting mining revenues and combating smuggling in the region. The attack resulted in multiple fatalities, and Kennedy reportedly sustained three gunshot wounds to his leg.

When asked about the incident during a press conference, UFC CEO Dana White stated he had no prior knowledge of the event. Upon learning that Kennedy suffered three gunshot wounds to his leg, White reacted with concern and stated he hopes for the fighter's recovery.

Kennedy is currently in stable condition and is reportedly recovering within the United States.
