Mauricio Ruffy, who suffered a knockout loss to Arman Tsarukyan in the co-main event of UFC 331 on September 19, 2026, has returned to training. The Brazilian fighter recently posted a video of himself performing pad work with the caption, "News coming soon."

Following the UFC 331 event, Ruffy was issued a 45-day medical suspension, including 30 days without contact. He faces an additional 60-day medical suspension unless a physician clears a cut located below his eye. While an official return date has not been confirmed, reports have surfaced suggesting a potential matchup between Ruffy and fellow lightweight contender Salahdine Parnasse for UFC 335 in December.
