Raoni Barcelos Awaiting Diagnosis Following Health Scare

Raoni Barcelos is currently undergoing neurological tests and physical therapy in Las Vegas after losing consciousness during his September 26 fight against Raul Rosas Jr. Barcelos stated he has no memory of the event after his body began to go numb during the contest, and doctors have yet to provide an official diagnosis for the sudden illness.

While Barcelos noted that he feels better each day and is no longer on medication, he acknowledged that retirement has not been ruled out as a possibility. The 39-year-old fighter is currently under a mandatory six-month medical suspension that restricts head contact and requires monitoring of his heart rate as he continues his recovery process.
