Carlos Calderon Steps In to Face Austin Bashi at UFC Vegas 124

Austin Bashi will remain on the UFC Vegas 124 card following a late-notice opponent change. Bashi was originally scheduled to face Lucas Brennan, but Brennan was forced to withdraw from the bout due to a torn ACL. Carlos Calderon has accepted the fight on four days' notice.

Bashi holds a 14-2 professional record and is coming off a decision loss to Jose Delgado in July. His opponent, Calderon, enters the cage with an 11-4 record and one no-contest. The current Fury FC featherweight champion is riding a three-fight winning streak, most recently defeating Lorram Esteves in October.
