Carlos Calderon replaces Lucas Brennan at UFC Vegas 124

UFC Vegas 124, scheduled for November 7, 2026, at the Meta Apex, features a shift in the featherweight division. Lucas Brennan has withdrawn from his bout against Austin Bashi after sustaining a complete ACL tear. Consequently, Fury FC champion Carlos Calderon has agreed to step in on four days' notice to make his promotional debut.

Bashi holds a 1-2 record in the UFC and enters this contest on the final fight of his current contract. Meanwhile, Calderon arrives at the promotion riding a three-fight winning streak, most recently defending his Fury FC title against Lorram Esteves. The 31-year-old possesses a 73 percent finishing rate with six of his 11 victories coming via submission.
