Callum Connor and Piero Guaylupo Awarded UFC Contracts After DWCS Firefight

Despite losing the decision 30-27, Connor was signed to the roster alongside the undefeated Guaylupo. White cited the pair's high volume of significant strikes, noting their performance was among the most impressive in the history of the Contender Series.

Both fighters required medical attention following the bout. The event saw a historic outcome with six total contracts issued, marking the first time on the show that two losing competitors—Connor and Jaden Ortega—were granted spots in the UFC.
