Netflix Reportedly Producing Documentary on Dana White

According to a report from Page Six, the project originated as a film about Las Vegas before shifting focus to the rise of Dana White in combat sports. The film is expected to be directed by Gotham Chopra, who has previously helmed documentaries concerning athletes such as Tom Brady and LeBron James.

The project is slated to cover White’s involvement in the 2001 purchase of the UFC and its eventual sale to an Endeavor-led group. It is also expected to include recent developments, such as the UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House and White’s expansion into professional boxing via Zuffa Boxing alongside Turki Alalshikh.

Neither Netflix nor the UFC has formally announced the project, and there is no confirmation regarding White’s level of cooperation or creative control. While the report mentions potential inclusions of his career history, it remains unclear if the film will address specific controversies surrounding the executive.
